The Olinda ecosystem: Hostel, Restaurant, Theatre

A large square
We like to imagine Paolo Pini as a large urban square where there is no separation between those who have the art of the craft and those who have the craft of art. We know that our square needs to be nourished every day, by those who work and those who stroll, by those who sit in the bar and those who rehearse in the theatre, by those who make beds and those who hoe the garden, by those who cook and those who dream, each one scrutinising their future through the branches of the trees.
Jodok
Olinda is a social enterprise founded in 1996 as part of the redevelopment projects for the former Paolo Pini Psychiatric Hospital in Milan.
Set in the green park, the Jodok restaurant is the first point of welcome when you enter the Pini gates, where inclusion, socialising and culture come together.
It is the ideal place for work experience programmes aimed at vulnerable people.
A restaurant in the park, open all year round. Take a look at the menu and be inspired.

TeatroLaCucina
TeatroLaCucina is a concrete dream, a crazy idea, a visionary project. An old kitchen in the centre of a former mental hospital, on the outskirts of a metropolis like Milan. Where once there was an army of kettles, where meals were prepared, today stories are cooked up, and the pots and pans have made way for the stage.
After an exhibition in the city centre or a business meeting, fancy a show? Check out the TeatroLaCucina events programme.
