The transformation from a nurses dormitory into a hostel
During the nineties, while we were working at the closure of the former psychiatric hospital, we hosted in the former nurses dormitory, where lived some patients of the Paolo Pini, the first European volunteers who were interested in the first projects of the social firm Olinda.
This combination of finding accommodation between outsiders and insiders not only worked well but convinced us to transform the former nurses dormitory into a hostel accommodation project.
